Rain or shine, family and kids have plenty to do from beach to excursions to the indoor pool and gym to nearby museums and local attractions (Aquarium, Marine Museum, festivals, concerts, and local restaurants). The City owns/manages the beach. Please check City calendars before booking for events on the beach. Sand can blow around since it is on the beach. Some walking distance attractions include a massive playground, Rudee's Inlet, beach/ocean, the Vibe district, and favorite local restaurants like Waterman's and The Shack. Drive to and reach these attractions within a few minutes: the Virginia Aquarium, Ocean Breeze waterpark, iFly indoor skydiving, and NAS Oceana.
